Bubble Chart View

The Bubble Chart View needs at least three Values. The first one will be the X-Axis, the second one the Y-Axis (this can be changed later) and all the other values will be used as the Radius.

Opening the View

  • After opening the View (Window -> Show View -> Other -> Bubble Chart View) the Window looks like this:

Filling the View with Data

There are two ways to fill the View with Data

Drag&Drop

  • Choose three or more Variables that you want to visualize

  • Drag them to the Chart and drop it there

  • The Chart will be filled with the selected values and the output will look like this:

From Wizard

  • Not implemented yet


Valid Input

  • Double Values


Options

Change the Variable for the X-Axis

  • Click on the "X"-Icon on the right top

  • Choose the new Variable for the X-Axis (only the Variables that are shown can be selected) and click "OK"

  • The Chart will be updated with the new values


Change the Variable for the Y-Axis

  • Click on the "Y"-Icon on the right top

  • Choose the new Variable for the Y-Axis (only the Variables that are shown can be selected) and click "OK"

  • The Chart will be updated with the new values


Change the alpha-transparency for the plot

  • Enter the new value (between 0 and 100) into the "Alpha-Field" and hit "Enter"

  • The Chart will be updated with the new alpha-transparency



Restrictions

  • At least three Variables are needed for this Plot, otherwise the input will not be accepted and the Chart stays empty.
  • Negative Values for the Radius are ignored and will be treated like positive ones.
