Building Constraints

You can add constraints to a model through the Cossan-X GUI. By opening the evaluator tab, users are presented with the opportunity to 'add constraints', selecting this opens a simple wizard in the GUI. This then presents users with the opportunity to edit their constraint by adding 'inputs' and 'outputs' in the 'constraint properties' window. There is also the option to determine whether equality of inequality constraints are to be selected.

Adding Constraints

The constraints built in the evaluators tab are used within optimization analysis. They define the conditions, for which the design is to be considered as feasible. The constraints of choice can be added when producing the model, prior to running of the analysis.
